Dunelm expects earnings to dip

-

Dunelm’s shares came under pressure after the retailer said its fullyear profits had fallen.

The home furnishings group’s sales were down 1.4 per cent in the 13 weeks to 30 June, with total revenue coming in at £236.5 million for the period.

The group expects profit before tax, and before exceptional items, to be around £102 million, down from £109.3m in the previous year.
