Police on the hunt for a hit and run cyclist

A woman was hit by a cyclist on a pedestrian crossing in Edinburgh.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the collision near London Road on Monday 23 July, at about 7:25pm.

The woman was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment for a head injury.

The cyclist stopped but did not leave contact details and officers are now keen to trace him. He is thought to be in his 30s.
