For one day only: Beano fans set for rare glimpse of first edition at pop-up exhibition

Beano fans will get a rare glimpse of the National Library of Scotland’s first ever edition from 1938 at Glasgow’s Kelvin Hall this Saturday. Celebrating the Beano’s 80th anniversary, the one-day pop-up exhibition will feature highlights from the Library’s Beano collection, from decades-old summer specials to latest editions. It will include a comic from 1952 that featured Dennis the Menace.
