Pavarotti butler to give voice to deprived youth
A butler who once served one of the world’s greatest opera singers wants to donate his skills to help unemployed people.
Simeon Rosset, who now lives in Beith in North Ayrshire, once worked for Luciano Pavarotti.
He wants to give away £100,000 worth of training to ten candidates aged between 18 and 25 from deprived communities.
The skills would be taught to the youth as part of a four-week course.
Mr Rosset said he wants to counter the predominance of “white, middle class men” working as butlers.
