Samson’s masterclass

- Daniel Morrow

The king of penalties lived up to his title when foiling Sofien Moussa from 12 yards – Craig Samson’s third penalty save of the season - and the veteran produced a goalkeeping masterclass during the 90 minutes.

His opposite number – Dundee’s Jack Hamilton – must have wished the final whistle had come earlier, his indecision with the ball at his feet gifting not only Danny Mullen’s second goal but Saints’ first three points of the season.

Neil Mccann was right fully frustrated incoming away with nothing after the Buddies gave the ball away needlessly too often in the middle of the park.

Saints must tidy their play up if they are to muster up a fight at Ibrox this weekend.
