Teenager found dead two weeks before university

The family of a teenage girl have been left devastated by her death just weeks before she was due to start university.

Zoe Mathieson, 18, was found dead in Osprey Rise, Piperdam, Angus, on Tuesday. Her family said she had been looking forward to studying law at the University of Aberdeen and will be “very sadly missed”.

Police said the death is unexplained but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
