Lithuanian­s fly in after solving visa problems

Suduva have solved the visa problem affecting their manager and three players ahead of their return match against Celtic in Glasgow.

Head coach Vladimir Ceburin, who is from Kazakhstan, faced missing the Europa League play-off second leg after difficulti­es arranging a visa to travel from Lithuania to the United Kingdom.

But Ceburin and three of his players travelled to Paris on Tuesday to submit fast-track applicatio­ns and Suduva confirmed on their official website that they had received the documents yesterday

morning. Serbian defender Aleksandar Zivanovic, Montenegri­n midfielder Jovan Cadjenovic and defender Vitali Gaiduchik of Belarus were with their head coach

in France. The quartet flew straight to Glasgow from Paris while the remainder of the squad flew direct from Kaunas ahead of today’s match. 2 Brendan Rodgers oversees training at Lennoxtown ahead of Celtic’s Europa League clash against Suduva at Celtic Park tonight. Suduva’s problems echoed those of FC Ufa, who experience similiar visa problems for their Europa League playoff first leg against Rangers in Glasgow last week.
