Air Force 100: Classic and contemporary planes go on display for RAF celebration

RAF personnel dressed in period uniform stand beside a Sopwith Snipe biplane at the RAF100 Aircraft Tour, which continues outside Glasgow Science Centre until tomorrow.

The three-day display also features a Spitfire and Harrier, and replicas of the Typhoon and the new state of the art F35 Lightning stealth combat jet, as part of the Royal Air Force’s 100th birthday celebrations.
