Partick Thistle Consistently inconsistent

- Raymond Stark

The one thing about Thistle’s inconsistency is its consistency. Each game we’ve played so far has had a good 45 minutes and a poor 45.

Again that was highlighted to the hilt on Saturday against East Fife. In the first half, the Jags were comfortable and created some good openings before and after our opening goal. Passing was slick, movement was good and there was an injection of pace when needed. Second half? The complete opposite, wasted punts up the park, nobody trying to keep the ball and get it moving and in the end the home side thoroughly deserved their victory. One wonders what goes through players’ minds at times. With a difficult game away to Inverness on Saturday answers need to be found and quickly.
