It’s a stitch up: Massive tapestry depicting Games of Thrones goes on display in Glasgow

Students gaze at a huge Game of Thrones embroidery commissioned by the producers of the series.

The tapestry, created by the Embroiderer’s Guild and measuring five metres long and four metres high, took more than 5,000 hours to produce and involved over 140 volunteers. It goes on display at Glasgow Caledonian University today before being auctioned in February.
