Edge of disaster?
Nicola Sturgeon has said Brexit may have to be delayed to avoid the UK veering over an economic “cliff-edge” if it leaves the Brussels bloc without a deal on future relations.
Shameless sleekit Sturgeon said “it would be tantamount to stepping off a cliff edge blindfolded, with no idea of what the landing place will be”. She is perfectly correct, that was the position in 2014 when she wanted to take us out of the EU and the UK. Thankfully, we managed to step back from that cliff edge disaster.

Yes – her hypocrisy is breathtaking. But, sadly, her uneducated Saltire-waving cult is too thick to see that.

At least someone is standing up for Scotland.
Mukluk Brexit hopefully won’t be delayed. Whatever happens in March, let’s get on with it, deal or no deal. If it is no deal at least the uncertainty will have been removed. Like many others I am fed up listening to politicians such as Sturgeon continually moaning about it! If it is no deal I am sure there will be short-lived consequences that we will deal with, but the UK will recover. If there is an acceptable deal, then great. But let’s get on with it and no delays.

As the UK Brexit edges closer to the end of March, Sturgeon’s panic will rise. That is her point of no return. What if a good deal is struck, what if we all benefit, what if Scotland turns its back on indy and the SNP?

Why would she want to extend the uncertainty? We have been told for long enough by the SNP that the uncertainty about Brexit is bad for the economy, well then, get it over with, then we will know where we are and just have to deal with it. No uncertainty.
Nigel Fraser Well goodness me that table Sturgeon keeps talking about must be about to collapse under the weight of her demands. The reality check of course is that the SNP haven’t as yet given one good economic reason why any intelligent person should vote for the double whammy of exiting the UK & the EU simultaneously.
