Glasgow hospitality group Rusk & Rusk to open doors to city restaurant
0 James Rusk, co-owner of the hospitality and lifestyle group Hospitality group Rusk & Rusk is gearing up to open a new Glasgow restaurant, bar and events space that promises to reflect the “lifestyle and culture of California”.
The concept venue, named “So L.A.”, is due to open in the city centre later this year.
Rusk & Rusk is behind a number of other Glasgow restaurants – Hutchesons City Grill, The 158 Club Lounge, The Butchershop Bar & Grill and The Spanish Butcher.
The company said that the latest addition – on the city’s Mitchell Street – would bring a “Pacific beat to the mix”.
James Rusk, co-owner of the hospitality and lifestyle group, said: “While the Rusk & Rusk restaurant collection already boasts some of Glasgow’s most impeccably designed establishments, each having their own distinctive characteristics and unique identity, So L.A. is a new concept, which pushes the boundaries of our current offering.
“Our new venue is set to be a truly one of a kind drinking and dining experience.”
He added: “Being authentic and bringing depth to the dining experience are our core values, and these are reflected in everything we do. This is an extremely exciting time for us at Rusk & Rusk.”
The company was founded by James and Louise Rusk and has its headquarters in Glasgow.
In July, Hutchesons City Grill hosted an event with Jacqui Low, the business pioneer who was recently appointed chair of Partick Thistle Football Club.
The Bubbles & Brunch event was developed by Rusk & Rusk in partnership with Heart Scotland, in an effort to bring together “a community of thinkers and leaders who are passionate about sharing ideas, connecting and having a conversation”. Business figures were given the opportunity to share their stories.
