Wood lands multi-million dollar deal in United States
Energy and engineering services heavyweight Wood has been awarded a new multi-million-dollar contract in the US.
The Aberdeen-headquartered group said the deal with Evolution Midstream would see it provide civil and mechanical construction services for a gas plant in Wyoming.
Prior to the new agreement, the Scots firm completed smaller projects for Evolution Midstream, including the front-end engineering and design and surveys for the plant and associated pipeline.
Andrew Stewart, head of Wood’s asset solutions Americas business, said: “At peak we believe this will create 150 construction roles, at least half of which we will recruit.”
