Partick Thistle Costly error

Another week, another away game and another defensive mistake! A game that had a draw written all over it for the majority up until a long aimless ball was knocked into our box, one mistake and, bang, a 1-0 win for Dunfermline.

As a Jags fan I’m delighted three of our next four games are at Firhill, where we look a different proposition. With Ross County, Dundee United and Ayr all visiting in October it’s a real chance for Thistle to get in contention at the top of the league. All difficult games but winnable.

A word of praise for our board who were vilified by a small section of fans regarding Souleymane Coulibaly’s signing with some saying he is a waste of money. His clearance came through as the board confidently said at the time.
