Jewellery worth £30,000 stolen near busy road
Jewellery and other valuables worth around £30,000 have been stolen from a home in Aberdeenshire.
The theft happened on Sandyhill Road in Banff between 8am and 6pm on Wednesday.
Jewellery with “great sentimental value”, including gold rings, bracelets, watches and necklaces, were taken.
Police Constable Sean Horne said: “This incident occurred during daylight hours on a fairly busy road in Banff. A white van was seen in the area at the time and the driver may have information that could be useful to us.”
