Morton Pleasing point

-

A trip to the Highlands usually spells trouble for Morton. Over the years, visits to Inverness and Dingwall have usually resulted in heavy defeats.

To add to the mix, Jonatan Johansson’s men went into this tie on the back of a humiliating 5-1 home defeat by Ayr. In true Morton fashion, though, fans were left pleasantly surprised with the result and performance, earning a welldeserved point. Questions and worries remain though. Johansson has still failed to secure his first win after four games and the squad looks like a shadow of the side that played under the previous management. JJ now has time to work with his new squad ahead of the most eagerly anticipated encounter of the year – as ‘he who shall not be named’ slithers back to Cappielow.
