Pup power: Mad Eye safe and sound af­ter be­ing res­cued by Scot­tish SPCA of­fi­cers

Mad Eye, a seal res­cued by the Scot­tish SPCA, poses for the the cam­era at the char­ity’s na­tional wildlife in Fishcross, Clack­man­nan­shire. The four­week-old is among the first grey seal pups to be res­cued by the char­ity this sea­son. He was found on Dun­net Beach in Thurso with an in­jured eye, which will have to be re­moved.

The Scot­tish SPCA ex­pects to care for over 100 grey seal pups dur­ing the au­tumn and win­ter.
