Vul­ner­a­ble chil­dren at an af­ter-school club were given “credit” to buy sweets, fizzy drinks and crisps – and told to work off their “debts” by do­ing chores, a re­port re­vealed.

Why are there even sweets at an af­ter school club when set­ting the ta­ble guid­ance doesn’t in­clude sweets and cho­co­late! I’m all for chil­dren learn­ing to tidy up af­ter them­selves, how­ever, af­ter-school clubs should not be hold­ing sweets on the premises.
