Election strategy

David Bone (Letters, 19 August) gave his prediction of the nature of the forthcoming SNP election campaign. For the sake of completeness, he might have summarised the essence of the Tory/labour opposition campaign as well.

That is equally simple: condemn the SNP, snipe at Nicola Sturgeon, belittle the Scottish Government and make sure that the orders of the London head offices are obeyed. There will be no need to put forward constructive policies.
