Family of missing man appeal for informatio­n

T h e f a mi l y o f a ma n missing for a month has released an appeal for any informatio­n on his whereabout­s.

Billy Mcdowell, 58, was r ep or t ed missing f r om Whitburn, West Lothian, on 2 August. The last positive sighting of him was on 28 July.

He is known to have been at his home address on Loch Awe Way and attended a number of locations in Whitburn before disappeari­ng.

The p ol i c e have b e e n unable t o t r ace him or i dentify his movements since then, and both his family and officers have significan­t concerns for his welfare.

In a statement appealing for informatio­n, his family said: “Each day Billy is missing seems to become the worst day of our life.”

Mr Mc D o we l l h a s a number of health conditions which require daily medication.
