Christmas treats head for shelves

Christmas food favourites are due to begin hitting supermarket shelves from this week.

With just under four months to go until 25 December5, customers in Sainsbur y’s will be able to buy yuletide treats such as panettone and stollen when the supermarket launches its first festive products on 2 September.

The following day, Asda shoppers can begin adding mince pies to their baskets, while Tesco will be launching their new recipe mince pies the following week from 7 September.
