SSE Renewables sells farm stake

S SE Renewable sis selling its 25.1 per cent stake in Walney Offshore Wind Farm, nine miles off the Cumbrian coast, to Greencoat UK Wind for a total of £350 million.

The disposal is subject to a completion process which is expected to take place shortly and is in line with parent company Perth-based SSE’S stated intention in June to dispose of £2 billion of assets by autumn 2021.
