Thanks to the support of donors and legacies, the charity helps to prevent abuse, rebuilds children’s lives and supports families.

Through research, therapeuti­c services, campaignin­g and helplines – often a first port of call for those in crisis – the charity helps to heal the wounds for children like Rita.

“I’d encourage young people experienci­ng abuse to get support and counsellin­g. I have and it’s helped,” Rita says.
