Lockdown demo

-

A controversial antimask and anti-vaccine demonstration held outside the Scottish Parliament in protest at the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions was organised by a councillor who claims that care home residents are being “treated like prisoners of war” during the pandemic.

I agree with him. Value of national debt is 105 per cent of GDP. This is many times worse than the last economic crisis from which we still haven’t recovered. No one is telling us about people suffering from cancelled operations, about people who lost their jobs and businesses.

Rocky Naw Paddy Hogg should go and visit some of the people who’ve been infected or worse, lost members of their family to Covid. I don’t 100 per cent agree with everything

Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP are doing, but I’ll tell you what, I’d trust them before I start listening to this clown!

Peter Keenan It’s all they talk about on the news. I’m missing hearing about Brexit!

Scott Parker To the people who think Covid-19 is a hoax, send them on to a ward to help NHS staff and see for themselves. Or do they think the patients are actors?

Andrea Thomson

These people and their ignorance scare me almost more than coronavirus.

Gill Stewart

They’re correct. The lockdown is and will cause a lot more harm than the virus.

Robin Diangelo

These folks who don’t believe it could volunteer for the testing of any new vaccine. Pay them well for their time, it should be a breeze.

David Barr

He’s right, where is everybody? I’m not seeing anyone with even the slightest sign of a cold, let alone this killer coronavirus. We’re being told it’s there, but where?

Paddy Stimson

Without the media we wouldn’t even know there was a pandemic!

Martina Cannon-ball

It’s frightening that so many people are vulnerable to the Russian misinformation campaign. It’s meant to target gullible Americans but it seems some people in Scotland are falling for it too.

Neena Livngstone

He’s a very dangerous man! Covid is real, I’ve had now for eight months

Clark Bennett

Tell that to all the people who have lost a loved one to this virus. Or why don’t you visit a Covid ward and ask them if it’s a hoax?

Margaret Lough Oh look, it’s the ‘don’t listen to the experts, we know better brigade’ at it again. Laughable

Fiona Mackenzie

I was there. We need to put an end this madness, and anyone with a brain in their head who has looked at the stats would say the same. The country is a shambles.

Kevin Jackson

Well that’s big of you.

To make that decision on behalf of the sensible in the population and their families. I take it that it will be OK to sue you personally if there are any further deaths? Asking for a friend (a sick one).

Paul Johnston It’s all these conspiracy nut jobs that are causing harm out there. “Plandemic, sheeple, 5G masts “. . .give it a rest.
