BALE HAS SIGHTS SET ON A CLASICO RETURN

-

GARETH BALE has recovered from a calf strain and will play a part in tonight’s ‘Clasico’ — the game that could take him within touching distance of his first Spanish league title.

The 27-year-old (above) missed Real Madrid’s win over Bayern Munich after picking up an injury in the first leg, but manager Zinedine Zidane named him in the squad and will make a decision later on whether he starts or appears from the bench.

Madrid will be six points clear of Barcelona with a game in hand if they win tonight’s Bernabeu clash, and Barca boss Luis Enrique admitted the title race would be all but over, saying: ‘This is one of those games that will be decisive.’

Barcelona have failed to score in three of their last four games and Brazilian star Neymar is suspended. Uruguayan Luis Suarez has not found the net in his last four matches.
