Farm robot Earth Rover can also monitor crops, spot diseases and decide when they can be picked – possibly replacing thousands of foreign workers after Brexit.
A British firm, called Earth Rover, is working with scientists who designed the ExoMars rover, a European Space Agency robot due to land on the red planet in 2020.
Earth Rover’s Paul Harter said: ‘This is the future of British farming.’
