Naomi’s attack of the nerves
DESPITE her ferocious reputation, Naomi Campbell insists she is racked by nerves on the catwalk – and is just the sort of person who younger models can talk to.
The supermodel, who hit 50 last month, said of her cohorts: ‘Them, frightened of me?
‘No. They know me, they know they can approach me. It’s not always in work, I see them outside of work.’ And she assures us she gets the jitters at fashion shows: ‘When I walk, I’m nervous. I try to use my nerves to get over my fear and doing what I need to do.’
Friendly? Nervous? Is this the same Naomi who’s been convicted of assault four times and sent on anger management courses twice?
