The Simple Things - - THINK -

Nikita Gill’s poems are all about accentuating the positive. The world can be a harsh place, especially for women, and her words aim to empower and console. As the Belfast-born author and artist says: “A poem is a hug in a few sentences.”

‘Venus’ is taken from the collection Wild Embers: Poems of Rebellion, Fire and Beauty (Trapeze).
