It’s time for the 68th edition of the ever famous Festival de Cannes which will be held from the 13th to the 24th of May this year. Thierry Fremaux, Festival Director says: “During every new edition, projects are conceived, experiences are shared and different cultures are discovered: it is this dynamism that makes the Festival de Cannes a true reflection of its time.”

A quick read through our festival preview will definitely get you Cannes Ready, at least for some name dropping

to all the cinema snobs if not for the red carpet. In the midst of all the film buzz is another highlight, the Coen Brothers. Known for films like Fargo, No Country for Old Men and True Grit they have been selected to preside over the jury. They have previously had the honour of bagging the festival’s top Palme d’Or prize in 1991 for their movie Barton Fink, and best director prizes for Fargo in 1996 and The Man Who Wasn’t There in 2001. Their film Inside Llewyn Davis won the festival’s Grand Prix in 2013.
