Media madness

THE annual Government Expenditure Revenue Scotland figures last week gave a worrying snapshot of the nation’s finances.

There was the usual political bun fight and, given it was mostly bad news, it was perhaps not a surprise the Scottish Government chose a venue out of the way to release the data.

But it begs the question, why have a state-of-the-art media centre at its headquarters in Edinburgh if it’s not going to be used?
