A list as long as your arm!

-

JOHN and Luan Riach moved in to their new-build home in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, in May. They couldn’t have been be happier with their beautiful bungalow.

It just needed one thing to be complete – a phone line to be installed. That sounds easy, doesn’t it? But the Riachs suffered broken promise after broken promise – the list of calamities is far too long to print here.

Time and again dates for the job were made, forcing either John or Luan to take time off work to wait for workmen who didn’t appear.

To make matters worse, John’s mother, who lives next door to them in Turriff, requires hospital treatment.

The Riachs’ usual days off work are spent ferrying her on the 80-mile round trip to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for life-saving treatment. They don’t have time to waste. Raw Deal read the (very long) letter from Luan and stepped in.

BT said: “We’re sorry for the issues experienced and we’ll be making a credit to their account for the missed appointments and delay.”
