Mike’s bad day

IF reports are to be believed, the Scottish Government’s Brexit minister, Mike Russell, is in talks with just about any high-profile figure in Europe who will take his calls.

His eagerness to chat about Scotland’s place in the EU doesn’t extend to those closer to home, though.

“I met Kezia Dugdale today and I’m meeting Ruth Davidson later, so life’s not all fun,” he was overheard to say this week.
