Honey will run and run

-

I’VE been baffled by the Honey G phenomena.

I thought the X Factor rapper was having us all on, and was actually a practical joker.

When she was knocked out of the competition last weekend, I had a chance to meet her and find out what makes her tick.

It turns out she is deadly serious about her music and believes she’ll be multimillionselling artist and global star.

I found her rather endearing, although it’s difficult to connect with someone when won’t take their mirrored shades off.

I also believe she could have a pretty good career as a sort of novelty act along the lines of Jedward and Chico.

Youngsters love her and gleefully shout her catchphrase: “You say Honey, I say G” at the top of their lungs.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for her, but she is so desperate to be recognised as a proper musician, you can only wish her the best and hope she can follow her dream.
