BATTY IN A BELFRY

I LAUGHED at the news a bell-ringer in Worcester Cathedral was forced to ring 999 instead of the church bell when his feet became tangled in the bell ropes and he was launched 80ft, upside-down, into the belfry. Talk about highly-strung! I imagine his ears will still be ringing… from the wind-ups his pals are chiming him with!
