Two badly hurt in Fife car crash
TWO people were rushed to hospital following a car crash in Fife.
A man and woman both broke a leg when a white Volkswagen Up and silver Vauxhall Corsa collided on the B9129 at its junction with the A92 at Ladybank.
The accident happened at around 5am yesterday and both casualties were treated at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
Fire crews from Glenrothes were called to the scene and used cutting gear to remove the man from his vehicle.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the woman managed to escape from her car before it caught fire.
The A92 was closed for several hours while investigations took place.
