We won’t change style

-

JASON HOLT is adamant the Aberdeen fans won’t force Rangers to change their style.

The Pittodrie supporters are promising to create a white-hot atmosphere for today’s clash between the old rivals.

But Holt maintains he will still be looking to get on the ball and play precise passes.

He said: “It’s not hard to go into a game like this with my style because we won’t change anything. We’ll stick to what we know – keeping possession of the ball.

“It will be the first experience for a lot of the players taking part in this game and we’ve been made Warburton is delighted to see him back and firing on all cylinders.

He said: “Jason gives you energy. You just have to look at his statistics – he covers 13-14km a game.

“He works so hard on and off the ball. He was a real miss when he was out.

“We never doubted for one second that we would miss him and that’s been proven now that he’s back.

“He’s always creating space, offering angles and options. That’s the sign of a good-quality player.

“We’ve got good players in the squad but he’s one that provides a different perspective to our game.”
