But the former Manchester United manager’s speech was more of a gentle blow dry.
Sir Alex offered to talk to staff at the Glasgow Hilton hotel after he hosted a dinner for the Street Soccer charity with Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.
Managers and staff sat down with him for a debrief. One insider said: “Underneath Sir Alex’s scary demeanour is a golden heart who wanted to help and support young kids.”
