LATEST research involving 30,000 UK couples shows that 70% of the chores such as cooking and cleaning still falls to women. They spent three times as long on domestic chores as men. The average adult spends just under three hours per day on tasks, including shopping and dog walking, or eight years of their lives. The Good Housekeepi­ng Guide to the recommende­d chores we should do are: making beds, cleaning the loo, wiping the shower, cleaning the kitchen and clearing all clutter.
