METAL SCRAPS

DUNDEE City Council has raised £300,000 for The Marie Curie cancer charity by salvaging alloy body parts from the ashes left in crematoriums and turning them in lamp posts.

The ash to cash body scrap includes medical staples, steel hips, plates, screws and tooth fillings!

Certainly gives a whole new non-musical meaning to the term Death Metal.
