Football star’s TV gong

A DOCUMENTARY by football star Rio Ferdinand has been nominated for a prestigious television gong.

Being Mum and Dad is in the running for a Diversity in Media award for Media Moment. The documentary looked at Ferdinand’s life as a single parent after the death of his wife, Rebecca Ellison.
