SCOTLAND’S Eilidh Doyle secured a 400m hurdles victory for Great Britain at the European Team Championships in Lille yesterday.

Doyle won in a season’s best time of 54.6 seconds and took to Twitter to say: “Happy with today’s run! Great to get the win and full points for the team as well as running a season’s best”.

There were also GB wins for Harry AikinesAryeetey (men’s 100m), Jack Green (400m hurdles), Dwayne Cowan (400m), Daniel Bramble (long jump) and men’s 4x100m relay.
