Celtic fans lash out at ticket cost
THE cost of watching the world’s most expensive footballer has infuriated Celtic fans.
The Parkhead club yesterday slapped a £38 charge on season ticket holders who want to see £190 million Neymar Jr take his Celtic Park bow in the Champions League.
The tie against the Brazilian’s side Paris St Germain on September 12 has been wrapped up in a £114 three game “package” that includes home games with Bayern Munich and Belgian side, Anderlecht.
But if non-season ticket holders want to purchase briefs in the “public” sale, the cost per ticket rises to £50. It has been suggested the price is 15% higher than last year’s campaign in the same competition.
