It’s Fergie time with a difference

The Sunday Post (Newcastle) - - EDUCATION -

HE IS famous for his “hairdryer treatment” pep talks, so when staff at a Glasgow hotel had an impromptu coaching session from Sir Alex Ferguson, they may have feared the worst.

But the former Manchester United manager’s speech was more of a gentle blow dry.

Sir Alex offered to talk to staff at the Glasgow Hilton hotel after he hosted a dinner for the Street Soccer charity with Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.

Managers and staff sat down with him for a debrief. One insider said: “Underneath Sir Alex’s scary demeanour is a golden heart who wanted to help and support young kids.”
