Schoolboy piper plays to save lives
A 12-year-old Highland boy was inspired to raise cash for Heart Research UK after his grandmother suffered two heart attacks.
Kyle Cameron, who lives in Rosemarkie with his mum, Hanako, and dad, David, raised £169.40 when he performed after Sunday service at the Saint Andrew’s Scottish Episcopal Church.
David, 53, said: “Kyle wanted to do something to help others with his piping and support his granny. He organised the concert himself to raise money for Heart Research UK.”
Granny Margaret, 72, has made a full recovery following her treatment.
