Sunderland 0 Burnley 0

The Sunday Telegraph - Sport - - SPORT -

David Moyes took a gamble by naming his strongest Sunderland side in the FA Cup and his reward is an unwanted replay against Burnley after a dreary advert for the world’s oldest cup competition. Moyes did not rest anyone, not even Jermain Defoe, but there was barely a chance of note until James Tarkowski headed against the post from a corner in the 75th minute, while Ashley Barnes could have won for the visitors late on, shrugging off Papy Djilbodji to run in on goal, but he blazed over the bar.
