Cost cap

Past attempts at introducing a cost cap have failed but Carey believes they were not policed effectively.

Carey wants the cars to be loud and powerful and everyone agrees, but the first proposal by F1 sporting chief Ross Brawn had Ferrari threatening to quit the sport.

Concorde Agreement

The current deal binding teams to the sport expires in 2020.

The aim is a new design in which performance is not so hampered by following another car.

New races

Carey has talked about up to 25 races a season, with a second race in the US.
