Two of our favourite Lon­don restau­rants are Westerns Laun­dry and Primeur, so ex­pec­ta­tions for the team’s third site were sky-high. But with Jo­lene, in New­ing­ton Green, they’ve scored a hat-trick. A bak­ery by day, serv­ing loaves, crois­sants and palmiers baked with her­itage grains eth­i­cally grown by a mem­ber of Groove Ar­mada (true story); by night you’re in for to-die-for small plates, stuffed pasta and show-stop­ping whole grilled fish.
