Terror in London

SIR – Following the terror attack at Parsons Green, the Mayor of London once again said that “London will not be intimidated”.

In fact, people are quite rightly fearful and intimidated.

What is required is not more banal statements, but vigorous action. Why hasn’t the Government reintroduced home detention and electronic tagging for people who are considered to be serious threats by the security services? Stephen Lord
