County has the bottle to fill those pot holes

The Sunday Telegraph - - News -

Cumbria county council has became the first local authority in the world to use waste plastic bottles and shopping bags to fill its pot holes.

It has used pellets, developed by Carlisle-based company MacRebur, made from 1.3million locally-sourced bags and bottles. Independent tests show it is 60 per cent stronger and 10 times longer-lasting than asphalt.
