Children in Need 2017

The Sunday Telegraph - - Television & Radio -

It’s that time of year again when celebrities encourage our contributions to some exceptionally good causes. Rita Ora, The Vamps and the West End’s Beverley Knight, Amber Riley and Cassidy Janson take to the stage, while Strictly champion Ore Oduba will be singing for the first time as he performs a song and dance routine inspired by Gene Kelly. The cast of Annie also appear, as do the EastEnders gang, who are promising a musical medley in Albert Square. In perhaps the evening’s highlight, Blue Peter presenters of yore including Mark Curry, Tim Vincent and Konnie Huq dance with a Strictly professional to win the Pudsey GlitterBall trophy. At 10.00pm, BBC Two resurrects The Weakest Link with Anne Robinson. Plus, look out for a sneak peek of the Doctor Who Christmas special. GT
